There are many that say they know God today and they state that they are Christians.  Well, what is it that makes a Christian anyway?  How does one get to know God?  What must he do to have eternal life with God?

The Bible says that all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)  What does that mean?  Ever since Adam and Eve took a bite of the fruit that God had forbidden them to eat, (Genesis 3:3) we have all inherited sin.  There is no one since that time that is not a sinner.  Since God is perfect and no one can have a relationship with him that is with sin, (Romans 6:23) then how do we get to have eternal life with God?  Well, my friend, because God loves us so much, He provided a way for us to come to Him without sin.  (John 3:16)

That way is Jesus Christ.  God sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins on the cross.  (1 Peter 3:18)  Jesus shed His precious blood to cover our sins and to take them away.  Jesus, after three days rose from the dead (Romans 3:25) and conquered sin forever for anyone who would believe and have faith in Him.

You might say to yourself, I’have heard something about that before, and I do believe that Jesus existed.  I go to church once in awhile, do good deeds and I try to help others out here and there.  I even volunteer at the Salvation Army sometimes, plus  I give to the needy during the holidays.  So, I guess that makes me saved, right?  (James 2:10)  Isn't that enough for God?  (Ephesians 2:8-9, Isaiah 64:6)  No, my friend.  Remember in Ephesians, it has nothing to do with what you do, but what Jesus has done for you.  It's a personal relationship with Jesus, a one on one.

Which means that all you have to do is to ask Jesus to forgive you, of your sins, (Acts 3:19) repent and believe that Jesus died and shed His blood on the cross for you!  You must believe that Jesus rose from the dead (Romans 4:25) and is alive today.  God has made it so simple for anyone who will just believe and have faith, to be saved and have eternal life with Him.  Do not procrastinate, God's Word says, "Today is the day of Salvation".  (2 Corinthians 6:2)  So my friend, if you  would like to know Jesus as your personal Savior, just pray this sinners prayer now.

You can pray this way.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I know that I am a sinner.  I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and God raised from the dead.  I now repent of my sins and ask Jesus to come into my heart.  I am trusting in only Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.  Thank you for saving me.  In Jesus Name, amen.

If you have prayed this prayer and believe it with all your heart, you are now saved.  Jesus in now in your heart and life and will be so forever.  You need not worry about going to hell, for Jesus, our Lord and Savior has indeed saved YOU!  Now you need to find yourself a Bible teaching church and start attending.  Praise God for YOUR Salvation and someday I will see you in heaven.  If you have any questions about this, please feel free to email me at:
